The First Dyslexia Awareness Week in Saint-Petersburg

MAGRAM to participate in the first World Dyslexia Awareness Week

According to the World Health Organization (WHO) today every fifth person around the world has some problems with info perception.

However we know nothing about it — 83% of Russians have no information about dyslexia and dysgraphia!

This fact was identified within the first Russia’s research devoted to the problem of dyslexia and dysgraphia awareness. The study was made in the beginning of this year by the Russian Dyslexia Association together with MAGRAM MR supported by the Regional Social Programs Fund "Our Future" and the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.

The survey covered 35,000 people including 32,406 teachers, head teachers, psychologists and speech therapist from schools across Russia.

On October 6, within the World Dyslexia Awareness Week, the results of this unique research will be presented by the manager of this project Inna Matveeva, Deputy Director of Financial and Socio-Economic Research Department, MAGRAM MR.
